Prerequisite: Family Dog 1 or equivalent, or consent of instructor

Our Agility for Fun class introduces you and your dog to the sport of agility in a relaxed, positive, non-competitive atmosphere. You will learn work as a team with your dog. As your dog learns to negotiate jumps, weave poles, tunnels, seesaws and other obstacles, he will also learn how to listen, focus on your lead, and gain confidence. Your dog will become more alert to your cues both in and out of class, and you will get a workout too!

Please bring proof of vaccinations the first week of class.

Agility for Fun: Sundays, 11:30 am to 12:30 pm

Cost: $140 Shelter Adoptees, $150 General Public

Equipment

We recommend at minimum a flat or martingale collar with a 6 foot leash. Sometimes we will suggest the addition of head halters or front hook harnesses, If you need a harness we can sell you one after class. Please no choke or pinch collars, or retractable leashes. We have found that good training with comfortable, non-aversive equipment will enable your dog to perform consistently better!
